The spread of COVID-19 has already caused immense tragedy and economic loss. As we plan for the future, it is important to understand how COVID-19 cases are likely to evolve. However, the evolution of COVID-19 depends on how much we, as a country, continue to social distance or return back to normal levels of interaction.
We have developed a forecast model for social distancing by combining historic COVID-19 case data, public US statistical data, and mobility data provided by SafeGraph. See below for our derived Social Distancing Index by State.
